2016 Oklahoma Sooners Season Recap
Welcome to the 2017 College Football preview. We are so close to the start of the season and to celebrate, we will take a look at all 128 schools conference by conference, division by division. Our first school to take a look at is the Oklahoma Sooners.
Last season, the Oklahoma Sooners finished a top of the Big 12 Conference with a 9-0 conference record and an 11-2 record overall. Rather it’s at home or on the road, the Oklahoma Sooners were top of their class. At home, they finished with a 5-1 record and even better 6-0 record away from campus.
Being in the Big 12 as one of the top schools in the country, it’s certain that it would be a tough schedule. The Sooners would play seven games against top 25 AP teams. Out of those seven games, they would win six of them. When Oklahoma was playing on a natural field, they would dominate as they were playing at home. They would win two out of three games.
2017 Oklahoma Sooners Preview
With their backs against the wall, the Oklahoma Sooners are already facing adversity as three offensive players and one defensive player getting drafted in the 2017 NFL Draft and their longtime head coach Bob Stoops stepping down for unknown reasons, the 2017 Sooners will have an interim coach, but the same old offense.
